Bears Win First Ever MVC Title

This year Dad got season tickets to the MSU Bears basketball games.  For Christmas, Mom and Dad got Shawn season tickets next to Dad's seat for the remainder of the season.  Dad and Shawn both absolutely love going to these games.  It's something that they are both always looking forward to.  It has been a great father in law/son in law experience for them.  They are looking forward to the future seasons, because of course now they both plan to be season ticket holders for many seasons to come.  I'm so glad that they have been able to have this time to spend together and have so much fun.  It's been great for both of them.

Yesterday the Bears went on to beat the Wichita State Shockers, giving the Bears their first ever Missouri Valley Conference Title.  After the game, Mom, Dad, Shawn, and I met up with Dusty Stone and Dusty Butler (also known as "The Dusty's) at the Roost to celebrate the big win.  We had dinner and drinks.  It ended up being a really great time!

This older couple was so cute! Mom said, "That's what your Dad and I are going to be like when we're old."  That lady was loving her martinis!  And yes, I was the creeper who took a picture of them :).
