It's Independence Day!

We had such a great 4th of July yesterday! Shawn, Ayla, and I joined Shannon, Carrie, and Blair along with Carrie's parents for a parade yesterday morning. The parade wasn't the best parade I've ever been to by any means, but it got the job done. Blair loved running out to get candy.

After the parade Shawn, Ayla and I went out to a country club with a few friends and Shawn played golf while Ayla and I hung out at the pool with my friend Morganne. Ayla loves the pool so much! We had a great time while her Dad was golfing!

Last night we met back up with the rest of the Wright clan and went to the 4th of July celebration in Battlefield, which is right by our house. They had lots of games and activities for kids and of course delicious, fattening food. The fireworks show was awesome. Blair absolutely loved them! She would say 'Pretty, pretty!' Ayla did great too! She slept through most of them and when she woke up she just stared at them, then fell back asleep. I don't know how anyone could sleep through that, but she did!
