We had an amazing Easter weekend! Shawn and I took Ayla to Bass Pro on Friday evening to see the Easter Bunny. Luckily, she isn't old enough to really know what's going on so she wasn't afraid of the Easter Bunny, which is great, because I'm sure next year we won't be so lucky lol. On Saturday Shawn, Ayla, and I went with Shannon, Carrie, Blair and Nancy to an Easter Event in Ozark. It was at James River Assembly, which is a very large church. I haven't been to many events like this since I was little (and they have definitely changed in time lol) but this event was crazy! I've never seen so many Easter eggs/decorations in my life! There was an egg hung, a petting zoo, face painting, crafts, and I'm sure other things that we didn't even see. Obviously Ayla is too young to participate in these things but it was still fun to push her around in the stroller and of course take pictures! :)
On Sunday, my parents, Gran, Nancy, and Carrie's parents all joined us at church. I was so excited to put Ayla in her Easter outfit! She was the cutest looking girl I've ever seen! Church was special for us for a few reasons on Sunday. Shawn, Ayla, and I actually joined our church at the end of our Easter service. We have been going for a while and know it is where we belong. We are very excited to have church home of our own to raise Ayla in. After church we all went to Houlihan's for lunch. Ayla's first Easter was great!
Morgan, glad you had a great Easter.
