This weekend was a big weekend! One of my best friends, Lauren Venable, now Lauren Wilmes got married. Lauren and I met our freshman year at Drury and joined the same sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. Lauren and I have been great friends ever since then. We had the rehearsal dinner on Friday night. After dinner all of the bridesmaids stayed at Lauren's house with her and her five month old daughter Kinley. We woke up on Saturday and started getting ready. The bride woke up and had no voice, so that definitely made for things to be interesting, I felt so bad for her! Once we all had our hair and makeup done we headed to the church to get ready for pictures. We took some pictures at the church as well as downtown Springfield. The wedding went perfectly and was very beautiful. Lauren was a gorgeous bride! After the wedding the fun began! The reception was at Nights of Columbus in Springfield. We enjoyed an open bar and lots of dancing! :) It was really great to see a lot of sorority sisters that I haven't seen in a while. It was definitely a great weekend. Congratulations Lauren and Seth!
