Shawn Rocks It Out in the Church Worship Band!

Earlier this week the worship minister at our church contacted Shawn about playing in the worship band on Sunday (Mother's Day).  Our worship minister was going to be gone so they needed an extra person to fill in and he knew that Shawn was a guitar player from previous conversations.  Shawn learned the songs that were going to be played and went to church early on Sunday to practice with the band before the services.  He was the electric guitar player for both services.  He did such a great job, I was so proud of him!  Our friends Staci Holland and Emily Konrad came to the first service to surprise him and give him support and then my parents and my Gran came to the second service. Shawn definitely looks like a natural up on stage.  He said that he had a lot of fun doing it and it was a great experience.
